No complaints - We got the crab Rangoon, general Tsos and bourbon chicken. The crab Rangoon was good - it's triangular not the usual gathered type - but still good, not too oily, plenty of filling. The General Tsos wasn't as spicy as I would prefer but I assume you could request it be spicier.
We ordered online and it was pretty easy. Reasonably priced, delivery took about an hour. I called to see how long it would take since the online ordering didn't give any ETA - staff was informative but no frills. I did have to create a profile on the website but it didn't take long and it was easier than trying to order over the phone.
Food arrived hot and the portions we very big. Delivery driver spoke English just fine. All in all a good decision - no complaints. Will definitely order again. -

I never thought a takeout Chinese restaurant could have terrible food. The only reason this gets two stars and not one is because the delivery was fast. This is my first time ordering at this establishment. What I ordered and my thoughts:
1. Small hot n sour soup - way too acidic. The color of it was very dark like the photo shows. There was not any real spice flavor and the soup tasted as if it had been reheated and stored many times. The hot and sour soup I've had from other places had a nice spice flavor and chunks of carrot, celery, egg, etc... this soup consistency was extremely thick and not at all similar to any other hot n sour soup I've had. You could probably have eaten this soup with a fork with minimal dripping.
2. Wonton Soup. I pulled the wontons out to eat them separate. The broth in this was very acidic and tasted as if it had been heated and cooled many times. The color seemed off and much darker than any other I've tasted.
3. Pepper Steak and Onion with Lo Mein noodles. The Lo Mein noodles were inedible. They tasted of vinegar and burned brown sauce. Some of the green peppers were yellow. The onion was well cooked and tender. Some parts of the steak appeared green.
4. Steak and cheese roll - this was not bad. It also was not fresh and seemed to have been sitting a while under a heat lamp.
I feel like I completely wasted 20 dollars. (Amount after tip) I ordered during the lunch rush and the food did come quickly. I ordered with the intention of have three meals out of this. Now, I have zero. In fact this meal has turned me off to Chinese for a long time.
I hope the owners can see this and step up their game. Had I received this food and ate in, I would have given it back after one bite and asked for my money back. I called and was advised no refunds on online orders. -

Food is always good. Service is always good. Eating in is an option, but needs to spruced up. Very unattractive. A typical Chinese take joint... I definitely recommend it though!! Its just one of those things!! It looks like a place you would not eat, but once you do.... You keep coming back!!!

I ordered take out here a few months back. I ordered the sesame chicken combo. The delivery guy was SUPER fast. The food was not good. The chicken was ok but the sauce was lackluster. The rice was not cooked properly. The peas in the rice tasted like half baked clay. The egg roll was decent. So today. It was nice outside so I rode my bike over to taste of china. The place looks like the old residence of patient zero of the H1N1... they just expanded the kitchen a little and threw in some booths. It took the girl at the counter a long time to get of her phone to acknowledge me. I ordered to garlic chicken combo. Then I waited. The floors were dirty, they don't wear gloves, no hair nets and it was overall sad. I sat and pondered all my mistakes in life. The chef called out my order... I sheepishly carried my to go bag to my table to eat while slightly encouraging myself with head nods and telling myself it's going to be ok. The chicken looked good and my heart broken the rice looked and tasted the same as last time. After a few bites I realized the garlic chicken and the sesame chicken have THE SAME SAUCE! It was at this point tears started to involuntarily flow down my cheeks from the instant guilt and shame I felt. I ate my egg roll doused in duck sauce as I sobbed between bites audibly whispering "everything is gonna be okay".... never again. Taste of China is not good. Inside or out... TWO STARS!
